John James Audubon State Park is
located just south of the Ohio River in
Western Kentucky. The park preserves
the peaceful woods where the famed naturalist walked as he observed the subjects of his paintings. The park features John James Audubon Museum & Nature Center, cottages, a 69-site campground, hiking trails, golf courses, and tennis courts.
